Hobbies:
Bowling: Early Birds Tuesday evening Mixed 4 League (2009 – present) I’ve served as the Treasurer/Secretary (2013–present);
Hockey (In-line) – San Jose, Sunday mornings (which is why I’m rarely at 8:30am or 10:30am Mass);
Softball (Santa Cruz City League Co-ed) – Holy Cross Pirates (2014 Season, Shortstop); manager is Andrew Lenz Jr., PGK.

"I'm active as Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, Lector/Commentator. I typically attend 5pm Saturday Vigil, or 7am Sunday Morning Mass.

I’m originally from Davis, CA., the 3rd of 4 children of Richard & Joan Knapp; (my dad graduated from Santa Cruz High in 1955, my Mom from Salinas High in 1956); I was confirmed in 1980 while a parishioner at St. James Catholic Church in my hometown. During my youth I was active as an altar server (4 years).

I received the Boy Scout of America’s highest rank Eagle Scout in 1983.

I have been an active member of Council 971 in various capacities – beginning with Inside Guard, and currently as Treasurer; I can be found most often in the kitchen helping prepare and serve dinners at out monthly social – cooking is a passion of mine!"
