Anthony "Tony" Salciccia

(September 14, 1932 - November 16, 2010)

The following is from "Today's Knights" (Council 971 bulletin), December 2010 issue:

One of our brother knights, Anthony Francis (Tony) Salciccia, passed away on November 16th. Tony was a member since February 8, 1995. and he made his 3rd Degree on March 23, 2002. Passed away peacefully in his home in San Jose after a year long battle with lung cancer, with his wife of 52 years Rosalba at his side.

Members may remember Tony (and wife Alba) as the owner/founder of Tony & Alba's Pizza here in Santa Cruz. Both Tony & Alba were active with our Council, hosting several “Italian Night Dinners” during our monthly socials until they sold their business and moved to San Jose. Tony had served in the Marines and was a Purple Heart recipient.

We missed him. May he rest in peace.
